Maison des Remparts, is
located on the old fortified village wall that once encircled Caunes-Minervois.
This 150-year-old village house has been tastefully renovated and filled with
antiques.
The house was renovated using local materials, antique tiles, exposed beams and original fixtures, but with modern central heating and plumbing. Antiques decorate every room, and windows look out over the village gardens, rooftops, and the nearby vineyards. Three terraces provide private outdoor space for eating, relaxing, and sunbathing.
This house many amenities: Maison des Remparts has 2 double bedrooms with queen beds, 1 single bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, a bathroom with tub and sink and a separate WC. There is a telephone, clothes washer & drier and a dishwasher. The living room (snug) has a sound system with extension speakers in the kitchen and satellite TV with a DVD player. The house has a large selection of CD's and some DVD's. There is a place to hook up your lap top computer and a printer is provided with the house.
